The G8 Summit:  a summer’s fairytale taking place in the city of Heiligendamm, where blooming poppy fields and a great blue sky come together to create a picturesque landscape, whose only anomaly is an angry-looking fence of incredible proportions tearing through its middle.

Caravans of police, journalists and various people trying to make the world a better place, comimg together from all directions, congregate and engage in something resembling a war dance.  Elsewhere, a group of artists despair over a crowd that believes in the interchangeability of Pop and Protest.

While Bob Geldof preaches on stage, “your voice against poverty”, which most locals react to by preferring to go and eat a Bratwurst, some left-wing extremists try to burn everything in sight but succeed only in damaging a car and a couple of trash cans.
