SYNOPSIS To investigate a murder case before the statute of limitations runs out, Detective Hoshino visits the murdered maid’s employer, Miyako Rožmberk, who lives in an old mansion with a deaf girl, Brigitte. The gorgeous, seductive Miyako indicates that the culprit is a man by the name of Ukyo Kuronuma. Hoshino infiltrates Ukyo’s den and witnesses him hungrily biting into a young girl who begs for her life. Ukyo turns out to be the swordsman Okita from the late shogunate period who once shared both blood and body with Miyako, thus beginning his undead life. But soon Hoshino is converted as well, starting a battle between the men over the beautiful vampire Miyako, who has rekindled their desires… Aya Sugimoto lead actress
Aya Sugimoto, Aphrodite of our generation, turns into a bloodthirsty beast! She reinvents herself in every movie she stars in as she transforms into a new and desirable creature, more erotic, more beautiful and controversial. In the movie adaptation of the groundbreaking bondage novel by Dan Oniroku, "Hana to Hebi"(Flowers and Snakes), Sugimoto endured being tied up and having hot wax poured on her skin. Her explicit performance as a fetishist redefined the concept of masochism. In "Johnen"(Crime of Passion), she plays the role of a woman whose crazed sexuality causes her to commit a scandalous mutilation murder. Her beauty is ageless and she knows how to make the best of it! She successfully exploits it to generate work, impressing men and women alike. In this movie, she chose to play an immortal beast of the night with a craving for blood.
